Curbside waste collection is provided weekly by Recology Vallejo to customers that reside within Vallejo city limits and surrounding Solano County area. On collection day putting your toters in the right place helps everyone. Place all carts at the curb on your collection day by 6:00 AM with the handles toward the curb, the lid completely closed and at least 3 feet of space between each cart as well as other objects such as vehicles, lamp posts, and trees. Please do not block the sidewalk. Additionally, please be mindful of weight limits, as the trucks cannot lift more than 200 pounds.

All customers are provided with three carts: one gray garbage cart, one blue recycling cart, and one green organics cart. For information about your recycling and organics carts, visit our Recycling and Organics pages.

  • Construction debris, concrete, rocks, dirt
  • Electronic & Universal Waste – TV’s, computers, cell phones, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury switches, etc.
  • Hot ashes or coals
  • Household hazardous waste – paints solvents, motor oil, cleaners, corrosives, fuel tanks & propane tanks
  • Recyclable items such as glass, metal, paper, and plastic
